How to Write a Book with Chat GPT

Craft something amazing with this step-by-step guide!

Before we start, I want to say that I haven’t personally written a book like this.

Huh?! What?

You read that right. I have written a book, yes, but I wrote everything manually because… well, it’s MY book, and not ChatGPT’s :)

That being said — it’s perfectly possible to have ChatGPT write a book for you, OR help you with it. Seriously, as a writing assistant, it’s awesome!

So let’s see how you can write a book by using AI.

1. I want to write a book about…

Go to ChatGPT and tell it you want to write a book about <insert any topic you like>. Ask it to give you 10 title ideas.

For example: “I want to write a book about Print on Demand. Give me 10 title ideas.”

2. Titles of the chapters

After having the title you need to create the chapters for the book. Here is a prompt you can use:

“Write me titles of 10 chapters that would be in the book.”

3. Create an outline

The next thing we’ll need to do is to create an outline, representing the main ideas of each chapter in the book.

Example prompt: “Create an outline that represents those chapters.”

This is just one possible outline, and you can customize it to fit your specific needs and goals for the book.

Or, just ask it to generate a different outline, or to go deeper on that outline.

4. Write Chapter 1, following the outline.
